About the company

MICo, spol. s r.o. was established in 1993 as a service company operating at the Dukovany nuclear power plant. In 1998, the company started its own production in the premises in Hrotovice and in 2011 the production capacity was expanded to an area of 50,000 m2 in Kramolín. The company focuses mainly on the design and manufacturing of heat exchangers, condensers, pressure vessels, tanks, steel structures, technological parts for nuclear as well as conventional power engineering, chemical and food industries and gaskets for special applications. We also supply technological equipment for ADN-type wastewater treatment plants including our own design. The company employs highly qualified employees with long-time experience gained during the construction, operation and maintenance of ČEZ, a.s. nuclear power plants. (Note: ČEZ – the major Czech power generation utility) The company quality system is certified according to ČSN EN ISO 9001 and ČSN EN ISO 3834-2 and verified by ČEZ, a.s. and other clients. The environmental management system is certified according to ČSN EN ISO 14001 and the occupational health and safety management system is certified according to OHSAS 18001.

Main activities of the company

  • Thermo dynamical and strength calculations, basic design, detail design and manufacturing of steam condensers, shell and tube heat exchangers, pressure and non-pressure vessels for power generation, petrochemical, chemical, etc. industries
  • repair of condensers and heat exchangers by replacement of tube bundles, spare tube bundles
  • production and reconstruction of technological equipment of primary and secondary circuit of nuclear power plants (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, steam reheaters and steam separators)
  • design and manufacturing of gaskets for sealing of primary and secondary circuit equipment of nuclear power plants as well as for other special applications outside of the nuclear power engineering, including professional assembly
  • production of equipment for water treatment (filters, clarifiers, lamellar sedimentation tanks)
  • production and assembly of technological equipment for waste water treatment plants with ADN technology
  • containers, tanks, steel structures (as part of the equipment)
  • repair and reconstruction of pressure equipment (replacement of worn parts)
  • custom production of different metals including machining, locksmith and welding works
  • processing of complete technical documentation including thermo dynamical and strength calculations of pressure vessels and design of sealed joints
  • design of gaskets for flanged joints and sealings including tightening forces / torques (sealing protocol) and assembly instructions
